Wow your just moving fast in this! Good Work!

Thanks although I have classes starting again in a week and a half so it’s all going to slow right down, if I can get the next row done by Christmas it probably means I haven’t been studying enough lol

Asleep on the couch instead of watching his brethren in the opening ceremony. Cutest part of the ceremony those Scotties although I may be slightly biased #scottie #commonwealthgames #scottishterrier #dog

I got a reply asking how long this has taken me so far and I can’t for the life in me work out how to reply back to it so I will just reblog the answer lol.
I started this last November although I have not been stitching solidly as I am doing a professional qualification though work so I slow down considerably and stop altogether when I have classes and exams.

I am working the opposite direction as you and I have to say the same thing. Mine has been on the scroll for over two years now but it gets put aside from other projects, smaller ones, often for classes I have to teach, events I host and the likes. But it feels so damn good when you can get a section done right? Any ways your doing wonderfully. I want to race you to the middle lol. as we are moving in two different directions I from the bottom you from the top!
Also together we could complete it in half the time lols. cant wait to see your next update.

I could agree to a race but I have classes starting again in a few weeks at which point my pace will slow considerably until after my exams at the end of the year so you will probably easily win that race and there won’t be much competition lolOnly doing half the work for it does sound nice though but we would have to work out a timeshare of some sort for it lol

Skin Game

It’s The Dresden Files time of the year (and a halfish give or take) again with the newest book in the series, Skin Game, now out and I have to say it lived up to expectations.

Won’t say much plot wise as I can’t work out spoiler tags on the mobile app but one of the things I absolutely love are heists (I was very sad to see the end of the tv series Leverage last year) so for this reason, as well as certain character developments that happen later on, this book was just pure magic to me, pun intended.

If anyone doesn’t know what the Dresden Files is, in simplest terms, it is about a wizard private investigator in Chicago called Harry Dresden and over the past 15 books there has been a massively diverse supernatural world created while Harry deals with his cases (containing not only wizards but vampires, werewolves, fairies, angels, demons, gods and many other supernatural creatures) with his friends and allies both mortal and supernatural.

I’m very bad at explaining anything, be it books or movies or tv series (I always say there is a reason I did a maths degree and not an English degree in uni lol) but this is one of my favourite book series and I would highly recommend it to anyone purely for Harry Dresden’s inability to catch a break in anything and the fact he doesn’t let that mess with his wiseass (read hilarious and genius) responses to everyone and everything no matter how powerful or dangerous such as asking an archangel where he can send his bill.

Tl;dr The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher is brilliant and you should read them if you don’t already, keep them coming Jim :D

My upgrade has arrived :D, going from the 96 litre tank in the living room to a 250 litre with a sump, spent hours with my dad assembling the sump, lid and lights, still got a little work left to do making the lid a little neater and sorting wires etc.

This weekend the rock and water are going in and the fish can watch across the room at their new home cycling for the next 6 weeks.

I swear fish keeping is like a crack addiction, except I would probably spend less money with a crack addiction.
